Invisalign in Austin, TX

Here’s you need know about Invisalign In Austin…

Invisalign In Austin

Having a straight and beautiful smile is something that most people desire. However, if you did not get braces as a child, or teenager, you may find the thought of having shiny metal brackets to be too young for you. Luckily, with advances in teeth straightening technology, there is now a virtually invisible way for people to achieve the straight teeth they desire without the need for visible braces. Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you’ve always wanted – without braces. A consultation with your doctor can determine if Invisalign is right for you.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign includes a series of invisible liners, or trays, that are removable and comfortable. Because they are clear, no one can tell that you even have them. Invisalign in austin is made with 3D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective at invisibly correcting smiles for patients at any age who do not wish to have visible braces.

Benefits

There are many benefits that invisalign treatments have as opposed to traditional braces. Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal that can cause mouth abrasions during treatment. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.

How Does it Work?

Following an initial consultation, pictures can be taken in order to establish your personalized treatment plan. Throughout the process, You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. This means you wear them 20-22 hours a day, everyday. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position your doctor has prescribed. You’ll visit our practice about once every six to eight weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time varies by the number of aligners worn during treatment and is between 18 and 30, but both numbers will vary from case to case.
